"Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness." Acts 4:29
  • What to expect this Sunday night, January 29th!

    Hello Fusion!

The last few weeks in Fusion have been a little crazy, in a good way!  We have all grown in God’s Word and young adults have come to know Jesus Christ personally, and we praise God for that!  Last week we had our first ever House Party, good times!  The week before that we celebrated the 1 year anniversary of our Fusion ministry at our Viera campus.  So there has kind of been a lot of moving and shifting over the last two weeks and I want to personally thank you for being flexible.  Well, with all that said, I am stoked to inform you that this week will be “normal” (whatever that means).  Normal as far as our regular Fusion service will be back in the youth center worship room at Calvary Chapel’s Melbourne campus this Sunday night at 6:05p.m.  We will be blessed to have Anna Folkerts share a presentation with us about all that God has been doing in and through her life over the last few semesters as a Bible College student in Peru, you don’t want to miss her story!  And I am so excited about slowing down our teaching pace this week in the Book of Galatians.  As of today, God is speaking to me about a few key verses that we young adults need to learn from this week!  You don’t want to miss His Word!  I love you and I look forward to seeing you this Sunday night!

    Blessings,
    Pastor Beau

  • Main points from last Sunday nights Fusion teaching on “Spiritual and Moral Direction” taken from Judges Ch. 18-19

    1. Without God and His directions, we are lost spiritually and morally.

    2. Spiritual and moral direction comes from God (His Word), not from man, religion, culture or government.

    3. Spiritual leaders must be in right relationship with God to effectively lead His people and all CF’s must be mature enough to spot a phony.

Question: What direction are you headed in spiritually and morally? Are you allowing God to direct your steps?

Psalm 119:35 “Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.”

Psalm 119:133 “Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me.”

2 Thessalonians 3:5 “May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.” (Also our memory verse for this week)

    4. Idol (Anything that replaces God in my life) worship causes people to totally miss God.

  • Don’t forget!

Hello everyone!  Don’t forget to read Judges 11:12-28 and then we will be looking at the rest of the chapter this coming Sunday night!  But let me ask you something first…  Have you ever made a promise that you just couldn’t keep?  You ever gotten yourself wrapped up in commitments that you just couldn’t follow through on?  What about when we make rash vows, commitments or promises to God?  Is God even into vows and promises?  God is going to lead us into truth regarding this often overlooked topic as we look at one of Israel’s past leaders who followed through on a vow that is unimaginable.  God has so much for us to receive from Him for the benefit of our lives!  See you this Sunday night!

  • Tonight… The First Missionary Journey and how it applies to our lives today!

I am really excited about Fusion tonight!  Acts Ch. 13:1-12 is a really eye-opening passage of Scripture about all kinds of stuff… the diversity of leadership in the church… that spiritual warfare is real…  and what is the source of power for Christ Followers…?  God wants you and I to know that no matter what we face as believers, He is with us… and He wants us to feel the excitement that comes when we step out in obedience and faith.  In our daily lives now, God wants us to live a more missional life.  Love you guys… and I’ll see you tonight!

Colossians 1:9-14 “For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you[a] to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. 13For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

  • Mid week thoughts… Lying to God, self, and others…

Hey guys…  I’m really excited about this weeks sermon at Fusion.  We will be looking at Acts Ch 5:1-11 at what happened to husband and wife Ananias and Sapphira when they lied to God.  Have you ever lied to God?  Have you ever lied to yourself or to someone else?  What is God’s standard?  We are also going to talk about the importance of truth and honesty in a marriage relationship…  something that needs to be learned “BEFORE” the marriage begins. Everything from prenuptial agreements to God’s plan for the marriage covenant.  I’m looking forward to seeing you this Sunday night…  and don’t forget to invite a friend!

  • This Sunday Night: Guest Speaker Bill Dumphy

Hello Everyone!  Fusion will be having a guest speaker this Sunday night.  His name is Bill Dumphy.  Bill is currently enrolled in the CCM’s School of Ministry, with the plans of one day entering into full time ministry.  Bill is a great guy and friend.  We met earlier this week at Moe’s to talk about the plan for this Sunday night.  He is planning to speak on Friendships and Accountability.  He has titled the message: “Friendly Fire or Enemy Fire” 2 Samuel 12:1-13.  I have personally been blessed with a good friend lately and am currently being reminded how good it really it is to have a real friend that you can be real with.  So that is what’s going down this Sunday night… Next Sunday night, we will continue in our teaching series through the book of Acts, specifically chapter five.  I haven’t titled the message yet, but it will something along the lines of “why do we lie to God?”  That’s what Ananias and Sapphira did and it had some serious consequences.  You won’t want to miss these services.  Love you guys, and looking forward to seeing you soon.

  • Ocean’s Edge Worship Band This Sunday Night!

    Hey everyone!                                        oe_top_left_logo1

We got a surprise notice this week  that the Ocean’s Edge worship band was scheduled to be in town this weekend to lead worship at a previously scheduled event… sooooo……we figured we’ve have them come by Fusion this Sunday night (5/2/10) on their way back down to Ft. Lauderdale.  “Ocean’s Edge” is a school of worship at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale providing relevant training and discipleship for the next generation of Christian musicians and worship leaders.

Shane (Fusions current worship leader) is a graduate of Ocean’s Edge and still keeps a great relationship with the Ocean’s Edge team… so they will be here at Fusion this Sunday night for a night of praise and worship…  I’ll speak for a few minutes in the middle of the service about why we worship and how God designed us to worship.

You won’t want to miss this special night!  It is also a great night to invite a friend… so pray and go for it.

    Love you guys,

    Pastor Beau

  • Greetings from Haiti!

    Hello everyone!

IMG_1786We have been here since this past Monday morning.  It has been great to see and spend time with Seige and Dinette.  Pastor Shawn has been teaching our New Beginnings material here to the church since we first arrived.  God is using it in a big way.  Yesterday, while Pastor Shawn was teaching the NB material, the rest of us took half the day to “upgrade/supersize” the tent that Pastor Seige and Dinette have been living in.  (Dinette was very thankful!)Elder Herb had received (by donation) some larger camping tents to bring here to Seige’s church.  So we laid some bricks, and filled them in with dirt so we could get his tent elevated higher due to the rain.  The remainder of the day yesterday we used some pieces of ruble from the earthquake to build a set of stairs here in the camp… there are some elderly women that have a hard time getting around the camp due to the rough terrain.  There are evening services every night here at the camp and Joe S. and I have been blessed to share the Word during those times.  Yesterday evening we toured the city of Port-Au-Prince… devastating…. To see the effects of the earthquake firsthand is mind blowing to say the least.  Pastor Seige continues to minister to those that the Lord has brought in his direction.  This body of believers continues to grow in their relationship with the Lord during this time.  As I am typing this blog, Pastor Seige is out for a meeting with the Christian radio station that is here for an opportunity to minister the Word over the radio here in Haiti.  The team is doing great.  We are staying encouraged, despite the conditions.  We are thankful for all of you that have and are praying for us… thank you so much!  Please continue.
